M.Sc. Geology covers the science that comprises the study of the solid Earth and the processes which have brought about physical and chemical changes in its crust and composition. Geology provides primary evidence for plate tectonics, the history of life and evolution, and past and present climate. The course helps the students to understand the different processes related to the earth, like the minerals, sedimentation, the climate conditions affecting the evolution of life and aspects related to them. Unlike many other career moves, Geology is one such career which opens the door to a plethora of other opportunities. Students who study Geology can later on move to the likes of courses such as paleontology, Geophysics, Mining, Environmental education etc.
