The ceremony witnessed a vibrant march-past performed by the students of Syyid Akbar Husayni School, a part of Khaja Education Society. The importance of the Constitution and its role in shaping India was eloquently articulated by Firdous, a student of BA Sixth Semester at KBNU. This was followed by a stirring Kannada speech by Akshata a student from the Faculty of Education, which underscored the values of unity and diversity that the Republic Day symbolizes. Adding a cultural touch to the celebrations, the students of the Faculty of Languages and Sciences presented a melodious patriotic song that captivated the audience. Mariyam Sultana, a second-semester student from the Faculty of Languages, delivered an inspiring speech in Urdu, emphasizing the significance of national pride and constitutional values. The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Rolling Trophy of KBNU Sports and Cultural Fest 2024. The prestigious trophy was awarded to the Faculty of Medical Science, recognizing their outstanding performance in the sporting event last year.
The Vice Chancellor of KBNU, Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, addressed the audience, extending his wishes on the occasion of the 76th Republic Day. In his speech, he lauded the collective efforts of the staff and faculty at KBNU, emphasizing their pivotal role in the university's development. “Our shared dedication will not only enhance KBNU but also contribute significantly to the nation’s progress,” he remarked. The celebrations also included a theme-based dance performance by the PU students of Syyid Akbar Husayini School, which paid tribute to the sacrifices made by India’s soldiers.
