Career Counseling and Guidance Programme For Engineering Students

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Khaja Bandanawaz University organized a Career Counseling and Guidance for Engineering Students.

The event was hosted by Miss Ruqiaya Rafa of 5th Semester, Computer Science & Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Khaja Bandanawaz University.

The meeting began with the Qirat (Invocation) by Mr. Musab Afroz, of 5th Semester, Computer Science & Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Khaja Bandanawaz University.

The event was inaugurated and welcomed by Dr Mohmammed Abdul Baseer, HOD Community Medicine, Director IQAC, KBN University, who highlighted the importance of holding Career Counselling and Guidance for Undergraduate Engineering Students.

Dr. Syed Naseer Ahmed, Dean Student’s welfare, addressed the gathering and introduced the resource person to the students.

The event was then addressed by Dr. Shaikh Kamal Mohd Azam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Khaja Bandanawaz University. In his speech, Dr S.K. Mohd Azam mentioned that this type of events will make the students competent in soft skills, creativity, team work, communication and many other skills in addition to their technical education.

The program commenced with the first speaker of the day Mr. Vijay Singh Thakur, who gave a brief introduction about the various opportunities and scope in the field of Engineering.

The session continued with the enthusiastic next speaker Mr. Vivek G. Hiremath, who apprised the students with various career options. He motivated the students to be confident and communicative in life. Besides, hard work, time management and focus on the line opted are important aspects to be taken care of.

Many motivational videos were presented by the resource persons followed by a Question and Answer session to resolve all the queries in the minds of students. Nearly 400 students participated in the event that reflected their passion and interest.The event created awareness and enriched knowledge among the young, aspiring Engineers.

The Vote of thanks of Inaugural function was presented by Mrs. Zohra Begum, Assistant Professor, Department of E&CE.
