As a component of academic program Department of Commerce, Khaja Bandanawaz Kalaburagi has organized two days study tour for the students of B.Com. on 10-5-2024 & 11-5-2024. The tour comprised 25 students of B.Com. 2nd , 4th and 6th Sem. accompanied by Coordinator and Faculty members, Mrs Qudsiya Parveen, Dr. Shaikh Tabassum Hameed and Mr. Abdul Razak, Department of Commerce KBNU

Day 1 (10-5-2024)
We started our journey at 10 o’clock and reached at 9.30am at the Dandeli Resort, Karwar, Fly Catchers Resort staffs warmly welcomed all of us. Delicious breakfast was provided by them. After that all students along with faculty members were taken to river Kali for river activities where students were exposed to different water activities like Short Rafting, Boating, Kayaking, Zip Line and Water roller. After finishing all adventures, we reached to rooms; we had lunch, after a bit of rest, we enjoyed indoor activities Archery, Dart board, Caroms, Cycling, Music. Evening hours we had tea and Coffee, Night Camp Fire and Rain dance was organized by resort where students enjoyed dancing and singing. The day ended with yummy dinner.
Day 2 (11-05-2024)
Second day started with beautiful sightseeing activity followed by breakfast. Then we took group photographs and thanked resort owner for their hospitality. We departed at 10:00 AM from there to Karnataka University, Dharwad. Students visited and interacted with faculty of Commerce Department, Karnataka University, Dharwad. Students were permitted to visit Department of Commerce and Library of Karnataka University, Dharwad. Next visit was at Parle LVT Biscuits, Hubli. Mr. Basvaraj Manager Parle LVT Biscuits welcomed all students and faculty. He engaged lecture on pioneer of Parle Limited and production process. He offered Biscuits and Parle Chocolates to all students. He allowed students to visit inside the Factory, where students took round around all the sections of production right from mixing of materials to packaging section. It helped students to understand the functioning of the industry. It provides an insight into the real working environment. Industrial visit provides a wonderful opportunity to interact with industrial expert and know more about the industrial environment, how the machines are working. Mr. Basvaraj Manager Parle LVT Biscuits said good bye to students of Khaja Bandanawaz University. Students had delicious dinner followed by Tea and snacks. We departed from Hubli and reached to Kalaburagi 5: 00 AM. Students reached safely to their home.
