The fifth and final day of the induction program for first-year students of various undergraduate courses including B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc. was successfully completed on 20th July of 2024, concluding with a valedictory session.
Program Highlights
1. Special talk on Cancer Awareness : Dr. Ahmed Khan, Assistant Professor, Department of General Surgery from Faculty of Medical Sciences, delivered a special talk on Cancer Awareness. The talk was very informative. The goal of a cancer awareness talk is to empower individuals with knowledge and encourage them to take proactive steps towards cancer prevention, early detection, and informed decision-making regarding their health.
2. Valedictory session: The induction programme was concluded with the valedictory session hosted by Dr. Badarinath Kulkarni, Assistant Professor Department of Biotechnology. The session was presided over by Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, Dean FoAHSSLC who also addressed the new students with an inspiring talk. Dr. Syed Abrar, Coordinator & Head, Department of Botany presented the report of Induction Programme. Feedback was received from the students and competition prizes were distributed.
Conclusion
On it's fifth day, the Induction Program of KBN university, Kalaburgai, was successfully concluded with all its objectives satisfied. The Induction programme of B.A, B.Sc. and B.Com at Khaja Bandanawaz University was a vital initiative designed to welcome and integrate new students into the academic community. It served as an introduction to campus life, academic expectations, support services and curricular and extracurricular opportunities available to students.
