On 16th Jan 2025 The Energy Conservation Day program focused on raising awareness and fostering practical knowledge about energy conservation and its significance.
The centerpiece of the event was a thought-provoking lecture on “Energy Conservation: Tools and Techniques for Engineers” by Mr. Vikas K. Anakal. His session delved into innovative methods for improving energy efficiency, emphasizing tools and technologies that engineers can adopt to optimize energy usage in various sectors. Mr. Anakal provided real-world examples of energy-saving practices, including advancements in renewable energy systems, efficient power management techniques, and the role of modern engineering tools in reducing energy waste.
The lecture also highlighted the critical need for integrating sustainable practices in infrastructure, manufacturing, and daily engineering operations, making it a highly relevant and practical session for attendees. Mr. Anakal’s engaging delivery kept the audience captivated, encouraging them to rethink traditional practices and consider more sustainable alternatives.
An interactive open question-and-answer session followed, where participants sought further insights into specific techniques and discussed the challenges and opportunities of implementing energy conservation strategies in their respective fields. This interaction enriched the learning experience, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving participants inspired and equipped with actionable knowledge to contribute to energy conservation in their professional and personal lives.
