Gender Equality

On 12th October 2023 at 12 noon, the Faculty of Hindi and Faculty of Commerce  jointly arranged an exceptional lecture on Gender Equality. It was a momentous occasion where Miss Lubna Tanveer, Advocate, coordinator and Head of the Department of Law at KBNU delivered an insightful lecture. Dr Deshmukh Afshan, Dr Milan Bishnoi, Assistant Professors from the Faculty of Hindi, and Dr Shaikh Tabassum Hameed and Mr Abdul Razak, Assistant Professors from the Faculty of Commerce, offered a memento to Miss Lubna Tanveer. The lecture was attended by students from B.Sc and B.Com, as well as faculty members from Zoology, Food and Nutrition, and Urdu at KBNU. Miss Lubna Tanveer enlightened the students about Fundamental Rights and explained the Directive Principles of the Constitution. She also thoroughly explained Article 14 to 18 of the Indian Constitution, which represents the Right to Equality. The session started with a warm welcome speech from Safa Mariyam, a B.Sc student, and Miss Lubna Tanveer's lecture was a significant addition to the event. Miss Lubna Tanveer's profound insight into the topic of Gender Equality was inspiring, and her explanations of the Constitution were easy to understand and follow. Mrs Qudsiya Parveen, UG Coordinator, supported in conducting the session. Finally, Miss Tayyaba Bushra, a B.Com 5th semester student, proposed the Vote of Thanks. The lecture was an outstanding success, and it was an honor to have Miss Lubna Tanveer as a guest speaker.
