The Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi organized Annual Sports and Cultural Fest from 25-10-2024 to 30-10-20234. All the Faculties and students of Medical Sciences, Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Languages, Social Sciences, Law, Education Commerce participated and gathered at the university campus.
The inauguration programme commenced on 25-10-2024 at 4.30 p.m. in the presence of Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Virupakshaiah, Engineering dean Prof Mohammad Azam, IQAC Director Mohammad Abdul Basheer, MS Dr Siddhaling Chengty, Dean Student welfare Dr Anup Desai, Deputy Dean Research Dr Guruprasad.
The programme was initiated with invocation by Majid. Welcomed by Dr. Anup Desai. Followed by the felicitation of the dignitaries.
The audience was then addressed by Honourable Vice-Chancellor KBNU, Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi. He encouraged for team spirit and motivated students for active participation.
Pro Vice Chancellor Prof H M Virupakshaiah emphasized on the importance of sports for a healthy life and he wished all the wishes to the students.The Torch Bearing ceremony by students of all faculties took place. The vote of thanks was proposed by Assistant dean student welfare Dr. N M Maroof and Nikhat Fatima anchored the ceremony.
Announcement of fixtures was done by Dr Anup Desai.
