Under the august supervision of Dean faculty of Arts, Languages, Humanities, Sciences, Social Science, Law and Education Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini. Tthe department of Urdu conducted the following event :
It was 16th Sep.2023 Saturday when the Department of Urdu had gear up for its Literary activities for the academic year 2023-24 with a unique programme by name “NAYE QALAMKAAR SE MULAQAAT” under the august supervision of Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini ,Dean FoL/A/H/Sc/S. Sc. In this event students belong to Department of Urdu have presented their creative Non Fictional write-ups ie INSHAIYYAH (Light Essay) and KHAKA (Pen Sketch) by seniors and their Juniors have reviewd on their creative literary presentations.
Humaira Begum of 4th Sem presented Pen Sketch “APPA RAO” and Rayeesa Fatima of 2nd Sem took a review on it. 4th sem student Shakeela Banu’s light essay “NUMBER KA CHASHMA” was read out by Dr.Ather moizuddin Asst. Prof in her absence and Shehnaz Sultana 2nd sem got the opportunity to present review. Sara Shahkar of 4th Sem and Lubna Samreen of 2nd Sem readout their free verse poetry and Asma Sultana of 3rd sem have critical glance on it.
The Programme was addressed by Dean FoL .She expressed her happiness on the creative activities of the student and motivation by the Teachers. Dr. Muhammed Abdul Rauf Siddiquie was the guest and Prof. M. A. Hameed Akber HOD, presided.
Dr. Shahbaz Arshad presented Naat and gave vote of thanks, Research Scholar Muhammed Afroz Raza invoked the Holy Quran verses and anchoring by Dr. Abdus Samad Asst. Prof. Dept. of Urdu.
