INTRODUCTION
To commemorate National Science Day, the Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the Department of Physics organized a two-day District Level Science Exhibition on February 27th and 28th, 2025. With participation from over 100 students across Kalaburagi, the event was an extraordinary platform for young minds to showcase their scientific talent and innovative ideas. The exhibition was well-received by faculty members, students, and dignitaries, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE EVENT
DAY 1: INAUGURATION AND SCIENCE EXHIBITION
The event was inaugurated with a formal ceremony by Prof. Nishat Arif Hussaini, Dean, Faculty of Science.
The presence of dignitaries including the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, Registrar,Mr. Mir Vilayat Ali, Dean of Academics, Dr. Zama Moosvi, IQAC Director,Dr. Abdul Baseer and Dean, Faculty of Sciences, Prof.Nishat Arif Hussaini added prestige to the event.
The dignitaries toured the exhibition, interacted with the participants, and appreciated the models and exhibits presented by students. They provided valuable insights and motivated students with ideas to enhance their projects.
Students from Colleges and University across Kalaburagi exhibited commendable projects and models in various fields like Mathematics, Physics and Life Science.
DAY 2: CONTINUATION OF THE EXHIBITION AND LECTURE SESSIONS
The second day began with the continuation of the exhibition, which was visited by many college students and faculty members.
The Second half of Day 2 featured Lecture sessions by eminent speakers, providing an enriching experience for participants and attendees:

VALEDICTORY FUNCTION AND PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
The event concluded with a Valedictory Function, graced by dignitaries including the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ali Raza Moosvi, Dean, Faculty of Sciences, Prof.Nishat Arif Hussaini and others.
The event was inaugurated with a formal ceremony, with a warm welcome address delivered by Dr. ShaziyaFarheen,Organising Secretary &Assistant Professor, Dept of Physics, KBNU.
Comprehensive report for the 2 days of the event was presented by Dr.Sana Aejaz,Organizing secretary & Co-ordinator and Head(i/c), Dept of Mathematics,KBNU followed by Prize distribution.
The Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering, encouraging faculty members to organize similar events on a larger scale and commended the efforts of the organizing departments.
Prizes were distributed to the Winners and Runners-up in three categories like Physical Science, Mathematical Science & Life Science acknowledging their exceptional contributions and efforts.

Runner-up: Syeda Hajra Fatima, Syeda Adiba Maryam, Saniya Kausar, Subiya Parveen, Ateeuqa Parveen, B.Sc. IVSem, Bibi Raza Degree College entitled KONNISBERG BRIDGE
Best exhibits in Life Science:
Winner: SobiyaGulnar&ShifaSaher,B.Sc IV Sem,KBNU on the title: Pollution Nexus
Runner-up: Simran Sultana, B.Sc IV Sem, V.G.Women’s Degree college on topic: Integrated Farming System
Best exhibits in Physical Science:
Winner: MahvishNayyer,Amatul Malik Maimoona,Amara Tahreem,BushraKausar,RabiyaBasri Ansari of M.Sc.IISem,Dept of Physics,KBNU entitled TECHNO TOUCH.
Runner-up: SaimaRaheen, SahbnoorParveen,Nikhat Fatima, B.Sc. Students, Bibi Raza Degree College entitled CHANDARAYAAN 3.
Vote of Thanks
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. NaziyaParveen, Organising Secretary & Co-ordinator& Head (i/c),Dept of Physics, KBNUexpressing gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers for their support and contributions to the success of the event.
OUTCOMES
The exhibition provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity and scientific talent.
Participants received valuable feedback and motivation from eminent dignitaries and speakers.
Students were inspired to pursue further innovation and research in the field of science.
Faculty members and students alike gained insights and ideas for future projects and events.

The District Level Science Exhibition, organized to celebrate National Science Day, was a resounding success.
